What Have We Been Doing?? A Round Up!

Forgive us vintage fans for we have sinned! It’s been a busy few months here at Judy’s HQ and we’ve been rushed off our feet bringing you the best vintage events in the land. But just incase you haven’t managed to catch us on our way around the UK here’s a little round up of where we’ve been and what we’ve done since those hazy summer evenings came to an end…

We popped up to Liverpool and with dresses like this stunner (swoon) we were in vintage heaven!

Making our way onto Cumbria we wholeheartedly celebrated the beginning of our Autumn/Winter wardrobes with plenty of fur and tartan! There were some staggering bargains too with traders slashing the prices of their summer vintage – affordability is our middle name folks!

Our next stop was our beloved home town of Leeds – with a double act of events in September and October we really spoilt you!

From bargain rails and up to 75% off at our Leeds University Student Special to utter decadence and glamour at our Leeds Corn Exchange event we managed to tick all the boxes.

We even had the lovely Love Rouge ladies there with cupcakes and cookies in hand for our peckish customers, traders and Judy HQ team!

Moving onto another Corn Exchange – this time Edinburgh and the vintage extravaganza that was Vintage Nation.

With live acts including Lord Hollyrood, Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer, The Frettones and Hustle dance troupe…vintage makeovers from Miss Dixiebelle and all your vintage shopping needs from the UK’s finest vintage traders, it was an event not to be missed!

We even threw in a huge vintage tea party for good measure!

We made a pit stop at The Engine Shed in Lincoln, bringing our favourite traders and The Marvellous Tea Dance Company with us! Vintage shopping AND brownies – what a treat!!

Not forgetting Newcastle, we packed our bags and took a trip to the ‘toon and what a colourful day we had! Judy picked out some amazing colour pop pieces that would brighten up any wardrobe…from this orange velvet clutch,

to this stunning bright pink coat from Tallulah Vintage…

Taking a trip down memory lane, we visited one of our old favourites, the York Hospitium! One of our most historic venues was always going to impress and our traders didn’t fail to deliver with our bookings manager Donna picking out these fabulous home wares (we are jealous)!

If you’re a fan of vintage home wares you wouldn’t have wanted to miss our Furniture Flea event in Bethnal Green – with midcentury home wares, furniture and textiles, there was everything you needed to furnish your vintage home.

Over 2,000 of you lovely vintage fans hop, skip and jumped over our threshold and snapped up some incredible, iconic pieces…we particularly loved this amazing daffodil lamp (we just wish we had room for it)!

Our sister act The Vintage Kilo Sale have been flitting around the UK bringing you tonnes of vintage from 1960s upwards for only £15 a kilo (wowza!). If you haven’t been to one of our kilo sales before here is a quick kilo tip from our Fair Manager Emily.

With those winter nights drawing in and the faint sparkle of tinsel in the corner of our eye we will be bringing you some JOLLY good festive events over the next few weeks!

Starting this Saturday in CAMBRIDGE

Moving onto LEEDS CORN EXCHANGE on Sunday 1st December for our Affordable Vintage Christmas Market…

Returning to EDINBURGH on Sunday 8th December for Judy’s Very Vintage Christmas…

And last but not least our 2 day take over of Leeds ‘Winter Wonderland’ on Briggate!!

We will have some sneaky peeks of our festive events and some cracking vintage gift ideas coming to the blog very soon…

Warm Retro Regards,

Judy HQ x
